BNF To Resuscitate Puo-phaa

The just-ended Botswana National Front (BNF) conference in Serowe has resolved that the party newspaper Puo-phaa will be revived as a matter of urgency. The conference resolved that party documents and uniform be made more accessible. The party intends to have an annual BNF commemorative month during which all structures will be expected to hold intensive activities to develop the organisation. The BNF intends to hold an annual national choral music festivals and competitions.

The conference resolved that BNF should develop a comprehensive policy document on agriculture. The document should include the creation of a farmers/agricultural bank; and agricultural cooperatives and a central market. The party intends to advocate the re-alignment of the conflicting policies of government; fast-tracking of the introduction of irrigation farming and on-site training of farmers.

The BNF conference resolved to reject the Intelligence and Security Bill in its entirety and to appoint a task force to assess and evaluate the Zimbabwean situation. The task force will brief the next conference where informed resolutions will be taken. The party wants to continue 'Operation Tsosoloso' to attract more members.
