BNF to meet for additional members of CC

The Botswana National Front (BNF) politburo will tomorrow hold its first meeting under its new President Duma Boko who is expected to present three names for nomination as additional members of the central committee.

In an interview with Mmegi, BNF Secretary General Akanyang Magama said the nomination of the three members is the prerogative of the party president. He added that he expects one man and two women to be named to the politburo.

Another matter on the agenda is the Tonota North by-election where Magama said the politburo will be sending teams of activists to help the Botswana Congress Party (BCP) candidate, Dr Habaudi Hubona.
