BNF struggles to douse G-North fires

The Botswana National Front (BNF) has not settled the in-fighting in its Gaborone North constituency branch. The constituency has become one of the hot-spots for the BNF. The party has still not conducted parliamentary primary elections in the constituency.

There is a dispute as to who is eligible to contest the BNF primary elections in Gaborone North. The former chairman of the BNF Youth League, Gabriel Kanjabanga insists that he should be declared the party' s sole parliamentary candidate for the constituency. Kajanbanga insists that he has met all the requirements to contest the seat under the BNF ticket. The private attorney has threatened to go to court if he is not declared the BNF parliamentary candidate for Gaborone North.
