BNF reports Btv to SADC

BNF president Otsweletse Moupo has fired a letter to SADC saying that Btv covers the launch of the party candidates but fails to air them. He said that sometime back, the BNF received communication from the Director of Broadcasting Services saying that all official launches of parliamentary candidates by various political parties will be covered by Btv.

However, Btv does not air footage after covering BNF launches. "To our surprise the Btv continues to cover our launches, but has stopped airing them over the national television.  We are extremely unhappy about the manner in which the Btv has been covering our rallies.  The Botswana Democratic Party (ruling party) has been getting much more coverage than the other parties.  All their parliamentary candidates were covered and aired by Btv," Moupo said in the letter.
