The Botswana National Front (BNF) has made peace with its former secretary general and Gaborone South MP, Akanyang Magama, according to information reaching Mmegi. A source in the BNF revealed that the two parties met recently to resolve their differences.

He said following the amicable meeting, Magama will be launched by the party as the parliamentary candidate for Gaborone South, possibly by the BNF president, Otsweletse Moupo. It said the party has decided not to institute disciplinary proceedings against Magama as planned.

But the BNF publicity chief, Moeti Mohwasa said he does not know about these developments.  He said the central committee appointed a committee to deal with the Magama issue but they have not submitted a report.
