BNF Maintains Presence At BDP Rally

KANG: The people of Kgalagadi are passionate about anything they follow. When it comes to politics, emotions run high especially in Kang.

Though the ruling Botswana Democratic Party recently held a rally in the village for its Kgalagadi North parliamentary candidate, Victor Motobake, the opposition Botswana National Front (BNF) made its presence felt through its contestant Phillip Khwae and his supporters. The race for the constituency is definitely between Khwae and Motobake.

During the 2004 general elections, the newly de-limitated constituency was grabbed by Obakeng Moumakwa of the BNF. The BNF is fighting tooth and nail to re-claim the constituency and the BDP has thrown everything into its campaign.
