BNF is not intimidated - Mohwasa

FRANCISTOWN: Botswana National Front (BNF) is not intimidated by the move by the ruling Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) to hold early primaries in opposition held constituencies.

The BNF publicity chief, Moeti Mohwasa said yesterday that the opposition did not with the constituencies by default. He promised that the BNF will continue doing well in the constituencies despite the BDP move. He said the secret of his party's success lies in the fact that people generally feel the ruling party had failed them and the BNF is an alternative.

Yesterday was the BDP deadline for those seeking the party's ticket to contest for the 13 opposition held constituencies. Twelve of the seats are in the hands of the BNF while the Botswana Congress Party (BCP) has one.
