BNF holds peaceful anti-killings demo

After being subjected to red tape for some time, the Botswana National Front (BNF) staged peaceful demonstrations to protest against extra judicial killings on Saturday.

The demonstrations commenced at Gaborone West and culminated in a rally at Ledumang. 

However, both the march and rally were poorly attended.  Party officials attributed the poor attendance to the Desert Race, which was taking place at the same time as well as the initiation ceremony in Mochudi.
