BNF Blames BDP For Voter Apathy

SELEBI-PHIKWE: The Botswana National Front (BNF) spokesperson, Moeti Mohwasa has blamed the ruling Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) for the low voter registration.

Mohwasa said there is voter apathy because people are protesting the BDP's rule which favours the chosen few, leaving out the poor.

He stated that as a result, people do not bother to register to vote. Mohwasa dismissed some commentators who attribute voter apathy to instability within parties, particularly the BNF.
