BMDYL has lost trust in party leadership

The Botswana Movement for Democracy Youth League (BMDYL) says it has lost trust in the national executive Committee (NEC) for failing to resolve the contentious Sidney Pilane issue.

Pilane’s membership re-application has been dragging for some months and it has divided the party leadership. 

“We have lost trust in our leadership, the national executive committee and we believe that if each camp continues adopting a hardline stance that has been at play in the media over the last few weeks, the biggest winner will be everybody’s common enemy, the BDP.
