BMD Congress could be postponed again

FRANCISTOWN: The inaugural congress of the Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) could be postponed yet again, after the Francistown region proposed that it be held in July.

"At its own congress at Aerodrome Primary School in Francistown last Saturday, the Francistown region adopted a motion to have the party congress postponed to July," revealed the regional chairman, Shadreck Nyeku.

Apparently the motion to postpone the congress was sponsored by the Francistown west constituency who argued that the time is not suitable.
