BMD all set for big congress

The Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) has so far elected delegates from more than 40 constituencies in preparation for the inaugural national congress.

In an interview with The Monitor, BMD official responsible for mass mobilisation, Kabo Morwaeng said they are ready for the congress, which will be held this month-end at St Joseph's College, Kgale.

The congress was postponed after some of the constituencies requested for more time to elect their delegates.
