BLLAHWU holds panel discussion on workers and politics

Botswana Landboard, Local Authorities and Health Workers Union (BLLAHWU) will hold a panel discussion at the University of Botswana tomorrow morning. The discussion themed 'Workers at the Centre Stage of World Politics' is a build up to the BLLAHWU Annual General Meeting next month from December 1-3.

The discussion will resonate well with current circumstances in which the labour movement is re-defining its role in the socio-economic and political sphere of the country.The union, which recently announced that it will forge a partnership with one of the political parties in the coming elections, has also pronounced that it has decided to engage in active politics.
