An official at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Daphney Mlotshwa has confirmed that the High Commissioner was invited along other foreign diplomats serving in the country.
Meanwhile, government spokesman Dr Jeff Ramsay has denied reports that President Ian Khama will be attending the wedding. "No, he is not attending. What I know is that not many heads of states will be attending the event," he said. International reports suggest that only Libyan Diplomats serving in that country have not been invited to the wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton because of the ongoing turmoil in their country.
