Bizarre scenario unfolds at Marulamantsi School

There was chaos at Marulamantsi Junior Secondary School yesterday, after a student started displaying unusual behaviour during lessons. It is alleged that the student stood up, took a sanitary pad and told her classmates that she wanted to suck blood from it. The startled students went into a shocked frenzy and started screaming, while rushing out of the classroom.

When some teachers tried to stop the said student, she bit one of the teacher's thumb. The other teachers then pulled her out of the classroom and dragged her to the administration block. It is alleged that when they got to the administration block, she tried to run away from the teachers. Another teacher got injured after tumbling to the ground while trying to hold her back. The student was then locked inside an office with some teachers and a lady pastor, who prayed for her. After a while, a male pastor arrived to join them.
