And some think it is the continued legacy of its founding vice-chancellor Professor Kweku Bentil and his erstwhile administrative team, together with the founding University Council who splashed P23 million on a security wall even before they could build a single classroom. Quite some very learned appreciation of priorities in cash strapped Botswana, or just that maybe our little minds are too frail to fathom the depths of thought from the very heights of erudition in this modern world?
Obviously the academics at BIUST, renowned in their own right as well-educated professionals and professors of sorts have put a good mind into envisioning the relations at BIUST and the efficacy regarding its contributions to the national development process.Surely whatever it is they had and have in mind about the purposes and tasks of the new university is ought to be in the best interests of the nation and citizens of Botswana served at a reasonable cost that would in turn prove to be an investment to yield greater profit for the society.
