Big shots trade accusations in court

The defendants in the corporate tussle involving some of the most prominent business partners in the country have filed papers at the Lobatse High Court to reject claims that they falsely appropriated shares in 21st Century Holdings - the company at the centre of the dispute. The wrangling involves Tati West MP and former cabinet minister, Charles Tibone and fellow businessman Lawrence Mokalalke on one hand; and a group that include former President Festus Mogae.
The prominent businessmen and politicians own the 21st Century. This week, Tibone and company filed papers at the High Court dismissing accusations by the Mogae group that they falsely appropriated shares in 21st Century, a holding company with interests in various business ventures.
