BFTU joins anti-Davos front

The Botswana Federation of Trade Unions (BTFU) has supported the World Social Forum Day of Mobilisation and Action - January 26.

The day is commemorated in 'confrontation' with the world economic forum summit of neo-liberal elites held every year in Davos, Switzerland.

A statement of solidarity from the office of BFTU secretary general Gadzani Mhotsha says the annual Davos gathering is staged by the "neo-liberal elites in order to deepen the theory and practice of the domination of the world by capital".
