BFTU in cahoots with govt - BOFEPUSU

Just before leaving for the conference, BOFEPUSU revealed that it would report the government to the International Labour Organisation (ILO) for violation of workers rights.
BOFEPUSU says in a press statement that it condemns "leadership that collaborates with employers in defeating the workers cause and calls for complete overhaul or removal of such individuals from leadership." The press statement, issued by BOFEPUSU publicity secretary Goretetse Kekgonegile, says BFTU's efforts to dislodge the former's complaints from the agenda were confirmed in a meeting BOFEPUSU had with BFTU president, Allan Keitseng, in Geneva yesterday. The list of 24 countries that will form the conference agenda is still to be finalised because of a standoff between workers and employers over whether workers' right to strike should be part of the conference, the statement says.
