Beauty pageant organisers claim US, SA celebs are coming

After the event organisers told Mmegi in an interview that the fashion designer will be residing at Phakalane Estate starting this evening, a Mmegi investigation yesterday revealed otherwise. An officer at the Phakalane Hotel checked for details of the United States (US) celebrity and confirmed there was no booking for Calvin Klein.

The organisers had also said that Basetsana Makgalemele would make a celebrity appearance at the event but officials at Phakalane, where she is scheduled to spend the weekend, also denied there had been any bookings for the former Miss South Africa queen.
