FRANCISTOWN: The Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) has reportedly decided not to take action against the party’s Francistown region secretary Raoboy Mpuang. On August 11, 2016 the BDP Francistown West branch wrote a letter to the party central committee to investigate and take appropriate action against the Mpuang over what it deemed gross indiscipline.

Mpuang was then charged for de-campaigning the party at the Phillip Matante East by-election but was later cleared of wrongdoing.
