The Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) showed its executive secretary (ES), Merapelo Moloise the door after she failed to remind central committee members of a monthly meeting, Mmegi Staffer TSAONE BASIMANEBOTLHE reports

The BDP Central Committee (CC) meeting, which is normally scheduled for every first Monday of the month, was postponed because some members of the committee did not turn up. The meeting failed after a successful party retreat that was held over the weekend in Palapye.

“The (CC) meeting was supposed to discuss the outcome of the Palapye retreat, preparations for the national council and the national congress which might be combined with the presidential elective congress.
