BDP to honour fallen heroes

FRANCISTOWN: Departed Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) heroes and heroines will in future be honoured posthumously for their tireless service and contribution to the growth of the party.

This was brought to light by the party's secretary general, Mpho Balopi on the sidelines of the funeral of BDP councillor for Monarch West, Shah Jack, over the weekend.

He said plans are currently underway to honour departed party members in recognition of their hard work, commitment and loyalty to the ruling party. Balopi said that the fallen party heroes will be honoured through monuments, certificates and other forms of accolades for their significant contribution to the growth of the BDP.
