BDP Steps Up 2009 Election Drive

The Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) is leaving no stone unturned as it prepares for the 2009 general election.

The party will launch a leadership training manual in Palapye on February 7. Dubbed Domkgrag kgomo ya Botswana," the manual is aimed at arming BDP candidates with requisite campaign skills that will give them an edge over their opponents in the general election to be held later this year.

Outgoing administration manager at Tsholetsa House, Fidelis Molao, told Monitor at the weekend that the manual would teach the candidates about mobilisation. "It is a step-by-step guide to empower BDP candidates to communicate their ideas better with the electorate," Molao said.
