BDP rejects Autlwetse's appeal

The Serowe regional committee of the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) has rejected an appeal by Serowe North East parliamentary hopeful Kgotla Autlwetse, who lost to cabinet minister Dikgakgamatso Ramadeluka Seretse in the party primaries.

The committee also threw out appeals filed by seven council candidates associated with BDP Women's Wing president, Tebelelo Seretse.

The committee chairman Bafana Motseothata told Mmegi that Tebelelo Seretse has directed her appeal to the party's Electoral Board after her loss to cabinet minister, Pelonomi Venson-Moitoi in Serowe South. Motseothata said Tebelelo Seretse served the regional committee with a copy of the appeal.
