BDP names candidates for Palapye primaries

Following the departure of Boyce Sebetela from Parliament, the central committee of the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) has announced its candidates for primary elections leading to a by-election in Palapye.

The BDP primaries will be held on Sunday December 22. As expected, specially elected Member of Parliament and Minister of Health Professor Sheila Tlou has entered a four-horse race to become the party's candidate for Palapye.

She faces Mater Goya, Ogone Mogano and the youthful Isaac Maforaga, who have all been given the green light to contest the BDP primary elections.
