BDP members challenges Tafa�s powers

The Kweneng Regional Committee of the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) is sponsoring a motion calling for the review of the party’s constitution and the powers of its legal advisor, Parks Tafa.

The motion will be tabled at the BDP’s national council and special congress on Friday and Saturday.

The region resolved last Saturday that it is improper for one person to be party legal advisor, electoral board chairman and advisor to the president.
