BDP intelligence spies hostile troops

FRANCISTOWN: Botswana Democratic Party's (BDP) massive recruitment drive code-named 'Ke leloko wena'! could have netted 'undesirables', concedes executive secretary, Dr Comma Serema, who has committed his office to thorough screening.

The recent Palapye constituency primaries re-run has exposed the recruitment drive as known opposition activists 'penetrated' the BDP books and participated in the party primaries.

This has sparked condemnation from some quarters with fears that the concept could have not been well founded, as it is more concerned with registering more people than protecting the well being of the party.
