BDP hears 'Bulela Ditswe' queries

Some toppled MPs are expecting a reprieve when the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) appeals committee sits today to hear primary elections appeals. BDP executive secretary, Dr Comma Serema, confirmed that five parliamentary and a number of council candidates have made appeals. Serema said the appellants have cited irregularities before and during the primaries

In the BDP primaries held last month, some sitting MPs lost their candidacy. Some of the MPs are amongst the candidates who have lodged appeals.
