BDP has killed parliamentary freedom - Moseki

FRANCISTOWN: Botswana Congress Party (BCP) parliamentary candidate for Francistown East constituency Morgan Moseki said it is the first time in the history of this country that the ruling party is in a chaotic state, so it is time for Batswana to vote for his party BCP.

"Even though the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) has more Members of Parliament (MPs), it dictates and regulates how its MPs debate issues in the House. Those BDP MPs who want to express the people's views are threatened with expulsion from the party.

BDP caucuses have killed parliamentary freedom to debate national issues without fear."As a result, Batswana must vote for the BCP since it is the best organised and stable party in the country. We have also joined hands with the Botswana Alliance Movement (BAM) to improve the lives of our people," said Moseki.
