BDP divisions puzzle Dada

The business moghul said at a Maun West constituency fundraising dinner over the weekend that party members should undertake a deep and thorough introspection after elections to discover why polls divide them. "The purpose of the thorough introspection is to identify why it is that our internal party electoral processes - be it for the central committee or Bulela Ditswe are proving to be divisive," he said.

He wondered if BDP members understand that the right they have to contest elections is not restricted to a few individuals but is enjoyed by all. He is at a loss whether the party faithful really know that in an election, it is not their individual perceptions of their worth which counts, but victory depends on whom the voters agree is best suited for a position.
