FRANCISTOWN: Wynter Mmolotsi has been reportedly confirmed as the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) candidate in Francistown South constituency for next year's general elections.

Mmolotsi got the ticket after the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) dismissed an appeal against his win in the party primaries by current MP, Khumongwana Maoto.

The legislator and another loser in the parliamentary race, Godknows Robi had filed an appeal against Mmolotsi's triumph, citing a plethora of irregularities during the August 30 poll. Maoto initially accepted the outcome of the election but later he backtracked and appealed.
