BDP council candidate in court over dagga

A Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) council candidate for Gaphatshwa ward in Kweneng South East constituency is facing charges of trading in illegal substances after he was allegedly caught with over 5,000kg of dagga.

Kabelo Blessing Mokgalajwe, 27, who beat the incumbent Moemedi Mokgachane in the BDP primaries for the ward appeared in court on Monday to face the charges.
