BDP Activist Spits And Ends Up In The Cooler

FRANCISTOWN: BDP activist and council candidate for Somerset Extension, Meshack Matsheka, was arrested on December 16 and spent the night in the Kutlwano police cells after spitting on Botswelelo nurse, Keitatole Daniel.

Matsheka appeared before Kgosi Pogisego Mosarwe of Phase IV customary court on December 17 charged with being a common nuisance.

According to Kutlwano Police Station commander, Superintendent Silton Fidzani, intentionally spitting on somebody constitutes a common nuisance charge.
Fidzani confirmed that the BDP activist Matsheka, 47, was their customer last Tuesday and they accommodated him at their cells after he committed this offence at Somerset extension clinic on Tuesday morning.
