BDF quits 'expensive' consumer fair

The Botswana Defence Force (BDF) will not take part in this year's consumer fair scheduled to start next week citing 'bad treatment' by the organisers.

BDF has undoubtedly been one of the crowd pullers at the show and their absence is expected to leave a gap in the event.

The uniformed forces have been a crowd favourite, especially because of their live performances at the event. According to protocol and public affairs officer at the BDF headquarters, Major Bernard Ragalase, they have been disappointed by the way organisers treated them.
