BDF drone crashes in Thebephatshwa

A Botswana Defence Force drone crashed at Thebephatshwa Airbase last week after experiencing technical problems while in flight.

Sources have revealed that the machine, which was operated from an office on the ground experienced technical problems and was brought down after several hours in flight circling above the camp.

Unconfirmed reports suggest that there was poor network to operate the flying machine and the only available option was to shoot it down. But there is confusion among BDF soldiers as to what the aircraft was doing there, as some believe that it is a spy plane.
