BDF clowns thrill F/town youngsters

FRANCISTOWN: If nectar draws bees in their droves, BDF Day attracts children in their multitudes as witnessed on Saturday when hundreds of youngsters laid siege to the Francistown stadium.

Though there were adults in the audience, it was the children who filled every nook and cranny of the stadium, laughing their lungs out at the hilarious displays by lumbering clowns and cowering under an intense eardrum-splitting bombardment in a mock gun battle.

Botswana Defence Force (BDF) public relations officer, Major Molefe Lesejane confirmed to Mmegi after the activities that indeed BDF Day attracts children more than it does their parents, uncles and aunts.
