BCP retreats to muse over umbrella

The Botswana Congress Party (BCP) will meet at a leadership forum on Saturday next week to discuss the prospects of the Umbrella project and what direction to take if it fails.

Speaking in an interview with Mmegi yesterday, BCP president Dumelang Saleshando said: "The forum will brief structures about the talks. There will also be an update on the mediation process between the opposition partners," he said.

The mediation came about as a result of the partners failing to agree on the allocation of constituencies.
