BCP leader visits Cuba

FRANCISTOWN: Botswana Congress Party (BCP) leader Gilson Saleshando is on a 10-day visit to Cuba.

 This was announced yesterday by BCP secretary general Taolo Lucas, who said Saleshando is visiting the Communist Party of Cuba to familiarise himself with the  operations and  work of the communist party. Saleshando flew to Havana, the Cuban capital, on November  3.

"Whilst in Cuba, Saleshando will meet with several  communist party  officials and visit various places to see how the Cuban  government functions. He will visit health and educational facilities and find out how they work. Saleshando is expected home on November 15," said Lucas.
