BCP In Clean Up Campaign

SELEBI-PHIKWE: The opposition Botswana Congress Party (BCP) says it will not hesitate to recall 2009 general election candidates who do not conform to the party's rules and regulations.

The party's Mmadinare, Selebi-Phikwe, Bobirwa and Tswapong (MASEBOTSWA) region chairperson, Nzwaligwa Nzwaligwa said underperforming candidates face the chop.
He said the local leadership will crack the whip on candidates who do not toe the party line.

"I am happy to say that after we threatened to expel some candidates for non-performance, they have got their act together.
