BCP hauled before court

SELEBI-PHIKWE: The Botswana Congress Party will appear at the Francistown High Court to answer protests of aspiring parliamentary candidate, Itumeleng Shine Ngakaetsile who was last year vetted out from contesting the primary elections.

The party Publicity Secretary, Dumelang Saleshando, confirmed that the case will be heard by the court tomorrow. He said a similar case from Selebi-Phikwe East constituency was thrown out by the court.

He suspects that the complainant might have failed to satisfy the court requirements.
Saleshando said party leaders should avoid going to court over organisational matters. He stated that members should respect party rules.
