BCP councillor goes AWOL - Modubule

FRANCISTOWN: Botswana Congress Party (BCP) councillor for Ipopeng ward in Francistown has gone missing, Botswana National Front (BNF) MP for Lobatse, Nehemiah Modubule said last Sunday.

Addressing a political rally at a freedom square near the ET Shopping complex in Block-Eight, Modubule said that as "I and some BNF activists went around the Francistown South constituency on house-to-house campaigns, residents informed us that their councillor was nowhere to be seen."

"We were asked from which party we really belonged to. In some instances constituents wondered if we were not from the BCP and threatened to boo us if we really belonged to the BCP," explained Modubule and added that the BCP has now lost its grip.
