BCP contender preaches agriculture

SIKWANE: Botswana Congress Party (BCP) parliamentary candidate for Kgatleng East, Philip Monowe, has called on residents to vote for his party because it has a clear policy on rural development.

Addressing a political rally in Sikwane over the weekend, Monowe said that it was disheartening that in Botswana people only turn to agriculture when they are retiring from the public service.

He said that this was a very bad practice that needed to be revered by making agriculture attractive to young people.
