BCP confident of winning general elections

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Botswana Congress Party (BCP) is confident of winning the general elections this year, a parliamentary candidate has said.

Nzwaligwa Nzwaligwa, who is interested in the Selebi-Phikwe East seat has told Mmegi that his party is not campaigning because it had already completed the task in 2005.

He said the ruling Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) does not have the interest of Selebi-Phikwe town at heart. He said everything has collapsed in the town and there are no economic activities that can create employment for the residents. He added that all projects planned for the town under National Development Plan 10 have been cancelled.
