BCP cllrs walk out of Phikwe council meeting

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Botswana Congress Party (BCP) councillors walked out of the Selebi-Phikwe Town Council special meeting this week because it was held unprocedurally.

Speaking on behalf of Kosi Matshaba, Molefe Molathegi, Evelyn Kgodungwe, and Alpheus Matshaba, Gaone Chamme said there were no resolutions in the previous council meetings or a circular calling for the special session.

Neither was there a resolution that there be an official ceremony to launch council projects. He said the chairman's committee might have decided to open council projects but there was no circular.
