SELEBI-PHIKWE: Botswana Congress Party (BCP) is hunting for someone to replace its council candidate for Bobonong East ward who has quit the race. Parliamentary candidate and party secretary general, Taolo Lucas, confirmed yesterday that Kgoberego Nkawana has pulled out.

Lucas said Nkawana withdrew his candidature because he has business interests in Gaborone and is finding it difficult to run the ward from Gaborone. He stated that Nkawana has since transferred his membership to Gaborone South constituency where he is working with party structures.
