BCP appeals dismissed

On Monday the Botswana Congress Party (BCP) appeals tribunal handed over a report to the party’s central committee recommending the dismissal of all three protests in the parliamentary primaries.

The rejected appeals were from Palapye, Gabane/Mmankgodi and Selibe-Phikwe East constituencies.

While refusing to disclose the contents of the report, the BCP secretary general Dr Kesitegile Gobotswang yesterday confirmed that the appeals tribunal has concluded its work and handed over the recommendations to the central committee.
