BCP abandons Air Botswana suit

The Botswana Congress Party (BCP) has abandoned the court case it filed against the government over the failed privatisation of Air Botswana.

However, the party wants President Festus Mogae to investigate the aborted exercise. The BCP has decided to withdraw the case after the failure of the privatisation.

The case has been held in abeyance after the Attorney General Athaliah Molokomme requested the BCP to wait until the cabinet has made a final decision on the deal.
