BCL non-core assets can support economic diversification -SPEDU

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Selebi Phikwe Economic Diversification Unit (SPEDU) Regional Development Agency’s acting coordinator Pako Kedisitse has said that the engineering studies conducted with the assistance of the European Union (EU) have reached a conclusion.

It suggests that BCL mine has sufficient non-core assets that can be utilised to support economic diversification.

Speaking during a recent stakeholders’ workshop that finalised the draft Regional Economic Development Strategy (REDS), Kedisitse said the assets included auto and locomotive workshops, shafts and others.
