BCL acquires modern fire fighting vehicle

SELEBI-PHIKWE: The BCL mine has purchased a fire-fighting machine worth P2.42 million. The machine is meant to prevent or minimise the loss of equipment and human life due to fire.

"The main reason why we took this step is in support of the BCL mission statement which states that we will achieve our vision through a purposeful focus on putting safety first and preserving and managing our assets," said BCL general manager, Montwedi Mphathi at a brief handover ceremony at the mine on Wednesday.

He said strategic vision, preservation and management of assets are major undertakings at BCL because employees are the company's most important assets.
